should t stay or should it go now? the pump is fucked. heard some people say it can cause early fouling of plugs, make it run rich, fucks up your o2 sensor. also heard there is nothing wrong with it. anyone done it. anyone had problems. anyones unlces bosses kids nephews buddy ever die in a fiery explosion because of it... pretty sure im just going to tear it out and get a smaller belt

i had to hammer the shit out of it once already to get it to start turning after it chucked the belt on easter. its spinning again but its awful noisey. feels like theres chowder inside. fuck it its gone done bye bye. i like smog anyways.

Yea just get rid of it mine was fucked too , but I decided to do a diesel swap rather than rip it out lol

just pumps air into cat so wont effect the way it runs just will smell a little rich maby.

lol cat. yea i dont got one of dem. and the gas tank leaks so it always smells rich, even if its not running

So lucky me, I gotta get this thing going and moving tomorrow. With that smog pump being seized, can i just get a smaller belt and skip the smog pump ?

Yes one way to figure out length is to take broken belt
Run it around pulleys mark it measure length -a bit for tensioner
