I sold the Samurai 3 years ago after I moved to Alberta and have been 4x4 less ever since. Well that changed this week! I picked up my new 2013 Can Am Outlander Max 650 XT. It took 2 weeks to get it shipped but it was worth the wait.

Already got her a bit stuck in the snow though. This white shit can melt any fucking time now. If it was a lighter machine this wouldn't have been a big deal but its a heavy pig and Alberta needs more trees to make a winch useful.

I agree, some tracks for fall to spring riding is a must! Really want some for mine but it's either keep sled or get tracks and I still enjoy sledding

Maybe I will seriously look into tracks after I get a truck with an 8 foot box to haul the machine around in. I know the tracks I've seen are around $3,500-$4000 but the truck must come first. New Generation frame in this machine so shouldn't be prone to twisting like the first Gen. Pretty happy with it so far.

Put a few more hours on it and it seems to be waking up a little bit power wise. I ran into a guy on the trail with a Grizzly and I let him take it for a boot. He was so impressed he said it was time for an upgrade. Now that the snow is melting the ground is super soft and when you think you are done it just keeps going. Feels like a really well balanced machine.
