Went an checked out a little bit of our history sunday.. Yale isnt the greatest for it on the weekend cause the museum was closed but still a little bit to check out. Theres only 3 homes and they are on private property an 2 old cemetaries. Yale was the hub for goldpanners/miners, eeryone would come to yale to distribute there gold an then it would get shipped down south via boat.

I think thous cans are from the late 70s early 80s. Very cool shots lots of neat angles and history in them hills. Rice

I remember drinking out of those cans as a kid. 70's and 80's sounds right.

maybe off season :dontknow: closed when we went there on sunday which sucks!!

There's a large rock in the river with an iron ring on it. That's where the riverboats would tie up back in the gold rush days.

There is a story about a load of gold being lost at the dock in Yale
That was never recovered due to depth and current
used to have a collection of old books on mining and the gold rush
Some interesting reading and story's or legends
