View Full Version : diy beadlocks (finnaly)

well finally got around to welding my beadlock rings on was alot easyier than i thought it was gunna be . afte they were all welded up i put deisel on the inside lip and rolled the rims around only 2 pin holes out of 4 rims ground them out and re welded and re tested . i put a layer or silicon on just in case . and then of corse the painfull process of bolting them up was made really easy with my cordles impact to get them close then torced down the last little bit all 4 hold air . just gotta make the explorer presentable so i can test them out

Yha we will see how well they work this sunday dont take long to.pull them apart and add a anit cone ring if im not happy with them

We put a 1/4 x 1/4 solid bar for my anti cone ring

looks good. i dont run a cone ring and mine are just fine. holds 3 psi np.
