View Full Version : rear Spring bushings

so I bought the energy suspension rear bushing kit. Go to replace bushings today, none of them fit. I got the bushings for an 87 4runner. The "spring" bushing from the kit fits in my shackle frame mount and that's it. Are there bigger bushings in a 89-95? And I would think the springs are aftermarket since they are for a 4" lift. Any help appreciated, thanks[cheers]

Oh and the bushing needed is 32mm with 18mm hole.....I'm guessing an extinct size though. Measured the springs and they are for sure from an 84-88 runner/truck. I'm so confused.

are they close to fitting? A neat little trick for bushings is putting them in the freezer for a couple hours before install. They shrink a bit when frozen.

Are they to loose or won't go in usually you need a fbh to get them in
the energy kit will be for factory springs YOU dont have factory springs find out who made the leafs and order there bushings ..
deal with this everyday [cheers]

right yeah my bad I forgot to mention they were to loose. B is right, 'cause I can't find a listing anywhere for these stupid things. The front of the lift is trailmaster so I'm guessing they were their springs as well. Unfortunately their website is down, back to dealing with lordco....yayy
