Simple question. (1994 f150's) can i run a 351 5sp engine off of a 302 auto computer. I dont see why not but just curious if it will work

True. Different firing orders but it runs that wasted fuel/spark setup so it'll be just fine regarding the order.

Turns out the 5.0 and 351 do not share the same flywheel. The 351 has a flexplate. So I'm going to need to add a 351 flywheel to my list of goodies and decide if i want a stock clutch to push 40's or if I'm going to need an upgrade. Also turns out since the deck high is different i need to rework the exhaust. Time for new headers :D

Think the 302 one will bolt on but balance is different
A quick trip to a machine shop for balance
And good to go

the comp knows the firing order even know its waisted fuel u still have to match comp with cam or ru will have running issues and buy the proper flywheel cheaper then a ballance ford has 2 diiferent weights for there small blocks

Last fly wheel I had balanced cost me 60 bucks and yes it was to make a internal balance fly wheel to a external balance the flywheel I needed was way more than that and wasn't readily available
But yes buying the right one is easier
Think finding a used 351 Windsor flywheel for a truck might be hard
