Hello!

I am new here, please forgive me if I have missed a relevant thread but I don't think so.

I recently purchased a 1989 Trooper II, XS model, 2.6l, 4 cyl, 5 spd hi/low. (it has been several years since I have had a vehicle but previously I was running a '73 Volvo 142 gs)

So.. lets pretend I split my time 50/50 on and off road have little to no intention of lifting it. I am running 30x9.5 bigfoots and I want a balanced and functional "rally" feel to the suspension.

I'm not planning to go high end with this first adjustment to the vehicle so I am looking for a combination of front and rear shocks that will achieve this goal.

I know little about truck/suv suspension so here I am.

I am considering a combo of Rancho 5000's, Tokico Trek masters, Monroe reflex or gas magnums... or suggestions?

let the opinions fly!!
