So one thing I've noticed after leaving the automotive trade is that tires are f'kn expensive! Never paid more then $200/tire working in shops but no good connections anymore. Want to put 33's on the 3500 and looking at $350+/tire. Might be driving across the line if I can't find a deal up here! And noticing not too many 10 ply in a 285/70r17, lots in the stock 265 but want to go up 1 size and still have the load rating.

i just put 35x12.5x17 ferce mt on my dodge 3500 for 295$ a tire at big o tires ,they are only 8 ply:confused0006:

Are those the ones you had on your last truck, I need some new 35s for mine

285/70/17 BFG All-Terrains. 10 ply. All in out the door $1300.00. $50 mail in rebate till Nov 30/12

Downside to buying down there is u will not get warrenty on the tires
And even if it says 10 ply they probably do not have 10 plys

Some Manufactures have a 8 ply tire that carries the same load as a 10ply it's all in the load rating
