i upgraded to a cs 130 alt ive got it all wired up and its pumping out some very good power and all working almost correct... the light wire.... i have it connected to my dummy light on the dash by the old light wire from the last alt... my question is does anyone know what the specs are that i should be getting as for ohms and volts.... from what i read it needs to be between 35-350ohms and like 4 volts i think.... well right now the dummy light is on and its pulling 610-660ohms and like 7 volts... it has a diode in line but should i toss in a resistor too or should i scrap the dummy light and run a diode and resistor right to an 12v ignition source....
