Went for a short road-trip while researching the new Cariboo Chilcotin mapbook. Only about 1600kms this time AND we actually took some pictures...

Trip Started in Abbotsford and headed up the canyon to Red Lake, just north of Kamloops.

Then headed north to Deadman Falls in the Valley of the Hoodoos:

Then drove around for a couple days and ended up at Farewell Canyon:

There are some cool 4x4 trails all through the nearby Junction Range Provincial Park. Actually has the largest population of Big Horn Sheep in North America. But we ain't seen shit! of course wheeling in 38degree weather in the middle of the day we weren't likely to see anything!

Stayed at a few wicked forestry sites but if you ever head up to this area check out Felker Lake. Got there on a Monday night and nobody was there. You could walk out 40 feet and still stand with your head above the water.

that looks like a fun trip. i think the wife and i gonna have to take a trip to some them spots.
