Well about time to make a build thread and catch everyone up on my toy

so it all started with this, a truggy project I got from jimmie...

So in search of a donner truck my buddy found a non running Toyota with 5.29's Detroit and lockright for $1500. I was working in castelgar at the time and sent him the money sight unseen didn't even know what year it was
When I got home we got it started in 2 min like any good toyota and tow'd er home

I soon realized I could be wheelin a whole lot sooner if I fixed this thing up.... and all the plans changed
Fixed some things on it, threw some ircoks on it, drove it a bit, Here's my buddy snow wheelin it on new years day 2011

new front hanger moved a couple inch's forward, TG 3 inch leafs

complete rebuild of front axle, with arp hub studs, knuckle studs, TG rebuild kit with wiper seals

ifs steerin bock reinforced and moved forward, bilsteins in the front with tg shock hoops

Painted the deck black and rigged up some mudflaps

took the body lift out, installed hydro assist and got beadlocks

the main problem with the truck was it just didnt run well, going down hill I would hit the brakes and it die, worked on it a lot and couldnt figure it out, here's vid of bad it was

so I tucked her away in my "shop" and started on round 2

caught up on all major maintence, tie rods, fluids, a new clutch, a lot of sketchy bolts, wire wheeled the frame and painted it again. put bilsteins in the rear, new fenders (again)ripped out a lot of wiring, and re wired most things on relays and switch's but the biggest change

m8, some painting, new headlights and headlight doors so i can actually aim my headlights now

painted it grey because my buddy gave me a free case and every peice of sheet metal was a diffrent color

put a new rear cross member in and a legit mud flap system becasue I always drive this bitch to and from the trails

so thats how it sits now hopefully be doing some frame and body repairs, get it back out for snow wheelin maybe even with rear suspension that actually flex's. Hopefully duals before next summer with new driveshafts

why bother redoing the body if you have went threw multipul body panels already ,or did you learn how to wheel with out killing the body [f] [f]

thanks for the hookup on the tank and mount, didn't get to meet you when I picked it up you were in a meeting

do you know if there's anyway to run my bbq off a forklift tank?

Ah ok you're the guy I sold that to lol

Yep I have what you need for that a MEX ME568 and a FIT I4C48POLNEPOLNE hose, it's around $45+ tax.
