Nothing too crazy... just got out for a day of wheelin with a couple friends, and a couple out of town friends. I'm fairly sure both of them are moving asap.

AWESOME day. Incredible views. Went up the blowdown FSR right off 99... explored a couple of the little offshoots... but mainly headed straight up to the pass.
One of the trucks I went with had broken a hub gear the day before, so he was just shuffling along in 2wd (2nd gen runner on 38 tsl's)... he had to gas it up one little section, and got a bit too throttle happy (inexperienced driver more than anything). Ended up shearing off a previous owner's welded 4 link bracket on his rear axle - which in turn toasted his brakeline. No brakes and a loose rear end at 7000' up. Perfect.
Anyways... a couple ratchet straps, some spare brakeline, and some borrowed fluid; we were able to make it back down no problem.
Didn't find the path too narrow in any place... and the views are insane. Definitely a spot I'll be returning in the near future. The lake is COLD though. My soliders weren't quite prepared for the shock of jumping in without feeling the temp first. Wowzers.

Also the pics are in reverse. Whoops.

Good pics dude. If your buddy keeps blowing all his shit, you might want to tell him to upgrade everything in his axles, or lower the size of his tires by at least 3 inches.

Trust me... I've gone over this many times with him. Truck is still IFS in the front too. 4 CV's in 3 trips.

My truck is IFS till the fall... but 35's and a light right foot go a LONG way. He hasn't quite figured that out.

However... if anyone has some 35's they'd like to trade for 38in TSL's... PM me. I'll hook you up a good deal so that I can keep wheelin instead of him breaking and me fixing.

Stock IFS with lift and 38's:eek:, begging for trouble. It doesn't matter how much he feather foots it.[16]

Yeah. Its a stupidly built truck. OME 4 in bracket/4link bracket lift. 38's.... everything else stock. Including 4.10's.

But for the price he got it for, he's way ahead.

Regardless... it was a good trip with no casualties. Any day that ends like that is a good day.

Wicked scenery, i love those smaller lakes. They're so damn blue. And those trails look awesome for a couple yotas.
