Uhh. Not that this doesn't look RIGHT, and I don't think it looks WRONG.. But I think it's just kind of odd,
what's the deal with my leafs?

That leaf is bent bad. looks like you hit something hard on that wheel and shifted your axle back, bent your leaf in the process.

It's both sides, though. And they're both exactly the same...

if your rear end is still sitting "square" you may have actually broke that spring at the center pin. this equals danger

that is 100% not normal.

those springs themselves are sacked, you can see the wear grooves at the slip pads. But the spring that you are asking about, to me, looks like an aftermarket overload of some sort added in after the fact.

B that's kind of what I was thinking. I think when I get the chance I'm still going to swap to exploder leafs though. :dontknow:

Yup I'm with B on this one , no way a leaf that long would be at the bottom of the pack , look at the ones above it are shorter and theres a clamp around the leaf pack to hold it on , my old ranger had a verry similar set up on it , I ended up takeing them out kind of useless for wheeling, dose the truck have a reciver or anything on it to indicate the guy might have done some towing , or mabe a big family lol

And yes sploder leafs are a great upgrade , ive put them in numerous rangers and bronco 2s , also bellteck 2" drop shackles for lowering a Chevy will lift a ranger or bronco 2 , cuz the shackles are opposit , I'm running Chevy leafs and a bellteck drop shackle in my ranger and love it , thing flexes great

yes, there is a receiver on it (it didn't come with the ball) but when the guy was selling it he had the ball attached. :dontknow:
my guess is it's supposed to be there, but is aftermarket because i haven't seen a similar setup with bronco 2's.. i just thought it looked kinda funny.
