View Full Version : traxxas slash speed

so i was out playing with my 2wd traxxas slash doing some speed runs. I had it up around 60 mph. heres a pic i snapped of 51mph. So hard to control at that speed. especially on my street with sooo many cars. Need a little wait for the front. The front wants to get air bourne.

I ran my old rustler with a brushless vsl or Vxl kit, i dont quite remember what it was, and 6 cell lipo and kept chewing apart the spur gear,

might not need weight....more weight =less speed
try adding some speed holes in the body so it can vent
updraft can make them feel light on the tires...

Its vxl. And ya the holes are a good idea. let the air flow. Other option is to do a speed run without the body on. Just hope i dont crash it that way. haha
