yes it is Eric while your under there drill a hole at the ends of the cracks that will stop it spreading further until you can fix it properly like Dave said drill weld and plate

clean, drill, weld, and plate is the only proper fix for what you have got there. and replace your shackles with ones that fit the frame to prevent the main cause of your smashed in cracks

well shit i guess yer right about the shackles hitting the frame at least thats how it looks dosent it

:confused0006: would love to move my boomerangs to the back but then my front would be higher than the rear

do you think removing the cross brace in the rear shackles and replacing with a well placed bolt would work better ?

do i even need the brace/connector ?

guess i could always order a pair of matching boomerangs for the rear

do you need a brace, no. should you have a brace in the shackles, yes.

look at it this way. when on a side hill or off camber, your entire vehicle is resting on the shackles. do you think 2 pieces of 3/8 steel that are 6-8" long is stong enough to take that force?

just like everyone has said clean , drill , weld , plate and solve the issue that caused the problem to happen in the first place.
