Was going to build 67 merc for mud drags ,but its going to be 2 wheel drive and Mission . Heres a couple pics of the crown vic front end thats in the truck now but having problems doing pic resize.Have ford 9", 44 all the steering and coils that not going to use , up for sale .

Got it in Lanztville in Mar , was going to make it 4x4 and take it to mud drags. Now going mission and see what the funs like , have 392 w stroker just made motor mounts today .Have a short box but its needs work , the long box is in great shape might cut it up to make a short . All the little things have been burning lots of time up , hope to have engine bay done soon . Then can start work on the back half , have all the steel for the frame , links and rod ends . heres couple shots .

neat but with all that room in that engine bay why not use a cobra motor or a supercharged lightning motor

Its a 392 w that have for another project, it well work tell I see how hard I bite on the drag racing . If all goes good want to do another turbo set up .

Its drop about 3 to 4" , lost paper had notes on , wanted to be able drive it on the street without scrape it . Got most my info on CV front end off fordification forms , have more pics what need to see?

Put spacers on bottom 5/8 " , most put them on top and drop coils, just some info

One of the problems with the crown Vic is the track width
Buddy has one in a 52ford panel truck and the only wheels that work
Are the butt ugly cop car wheels
they have more of a inboard offset than the reg crown Vic wheels

As the truck sits with 26" tires 8" between the cross member and ground . the motor cant go any lower cause front sump is on top cross member, went for more set back of the motor . Frame is 34 " looks 37 " max .If want to have a closer look its in the wack Pm a number.

new 05+ mustang wheels swap on perfectly, obvioulsy as that is what Pat is running
I dunno what you mean by "reg crown Vic wheels" as all crown vics from those years use the same offset 02+ iirc is when they went to the cool aluminum front suspension
