i have a jeep with 40 s and when i turn my wheels the whole front of my frame twists. enough to make people watching cringe. i will beef up along my steering box mount. but should i tie frame rails together under the motor for more strength.

Put a hydro assist ram on it. It will take all the load off of the box and frame and make steering a breeze even when the tires are wedged, best mod I ever did to my CJ in 20+ years of wheelin them.

You need to drill and tap your power steering box to run hydro assist steering.

You will need more resevior. People do run them with a good condition modified stock pump, but you will get the best benefit from running a pump built for the assist
