Since Aaron had problems with his Jeep we decided to pile into our Liberty and go for a drive.

We found a road and decided to go explore but we came across a tree down across the trail so since Aaron forgot his chain saw in his Jeep we had to cut the tree down the old fashioned way with an axe.

The weather turned out nice and warm with lots of sun during the day and cool at night. It was a nice weekend out enjoying the nice spring air.

Sorry Sheldon, no cooler :( We did see a pair of white framed sunglasses hangin in the tree :dontknow:

No snow past 20 mile bay, the snow was up around the 70K mark.

Thursday night was so peaceful, then Friday another group showed up and camped at the other end of the beach, they where kinda noisy with their quads. The rest of our group showed up Friday night around 9'ish.

The other group was no worse than us with chainsaws lol... You were just trying to sleep during the day :p

So Since nobody brought a camera on our quad trip ill tell you a story.... Aaron, Jen, Chandra, Barrie, Jen(another), Trevor and I went on a quad trip at about the 70k mark the snow started, at about 75k we came across a S10 Blazer sitting on its frame in a foot+ of snow they had alterrains no jack/winch or anything other than a recovery strap and it was a guy and his wife/GF and their 3yr old kid after about an hour of messing about we got them on their way but if we never came along they would have been stranded... so this is a reminder at the very least bring a shovel :p Oh and if you get stuck once stop trying to go on ahead, apparently before this point they had gotten stuck a couple times already.

...sorry to hear about the liberty

Why?
Other than sinking to the rocker pannels in the loamy gravel and getting stuck,
Theres nothing wrong with our KJ.
Aaron's Cherokee was the casualty of the weekend.

Cheers
