well as of thursday i now have 5 fj40s
ok one was originaly a bj40 but has a small block chevy
have to take some pix tomorow
the yards starting to look like a 70s toyota dealershiplol
so how many have others got
lets get some pix up:D

ive got two for now but the parts one is going soon and my rc crawler is a landcruiser but i dont think that counts, lol

I am attempting to collect one of every model rather than multiples of the 40 series.
Looking at a sweet 55 series at the moment, but don't tell my wife ok.

Looks like at least two different types of wheels on the red 40.
If you are looking for a full set i have some that look like a match for the fronts. Maybe we can swap some parts.

yes its got one odball on the rear the aluminum ones are a 2 or three piece
the center is bolted to the rim not fake rivets
seem to be realy light

and the red one will get better tires once it has power steering
right now mr one tons under the plasma cutter he heh he
got a set of synergy suspension control arms and track bar
will sit the same

split hood with the crome trim
2 piece front doors tops unbolt to become half doors
2f with a header motors siezed
strange thing is its got a padded dash
thought that was 73 and later:dontknow:

sprung-over Front Dana-60 with air locker
sprung-over Rear 14-bolt with Detroit locker (upgrade to air when funds available)
Stak 3 speed (upgrade to Atlas when ....)

ya it wasn't Jack Daniel's proof ....:roll eyes




spun a main ... wiped out the cam and i'm sure there more but i stopped looking

new motors ready :D .... but still on the floor

If that happened I would be really, really sad.

Bought truck a year ago in September with 'sketchy' 383 stroker - only wheeled it about 3 times (sort of) - been in shop with motor pulled apart twice in the process.

going into 'tuners shop tomorrow .......... fingers crossed

motors in - been breaking it in around burbs for a couple of weeks - finish this tank and then take into bush.

anyone know of wiper switch for FJ-40 I could purchase? or will a Canadian Tire generic switch work?
