Ive got a Edge Evalution chip in my 02 and a Superchips in my 99.

The Edge seems to work way better and was easier to install.

If you go to any Ford Tech sites they will say custom tuners are the only way to go.

I like my Edge and have been using it for a few years with no problems.

You mean go see BD Transmissions or BD Diesel power or whatever its called now.

I put 2 trannies in my 02 and my 99 has had 3 up until I went with a built transmission.

No disrespect Robo maybe you do the same thing?

get a tuner not a chip.Contact issues with chips are a pita. Jumped in the camper to grab a beer and a sandwich for the drive home from moose camp as everyone left. go to strart the truck and no wait to start light tried it anyways but nothing. after a lot of screwing around ended up pulling the computer to get the chip out bymyself in the middle of butfuk nowhere and that was the problem. happened on more time the next year and I got pissed off and gave it away.
