i just bought it and it has only been on for a week. after we put the egr valve on the readings jumped up.

drill 3/16 holes in pipe before cat out of sight.. exhaust flow creates suction draws in fresh air BAM super low readings, then just tack em shut after. problem solved

Mine does the same thing get 4 studded tires and all they will do is a idle test.

Insure it to a address that doesn't require air care then transfer you address a week later. Fuckib aircare is a joke anyway

I ditn't listen......bought a new cat $300.00 plus install and still failed......talked to the peoples I should have in the first place....bought ANOTHER new cat (3 way good one) and passed with flying colors. Your Jeep will never pass with a multi fit 2 way cat.......

Go see Mikey at Knight Bridge or the boys at Thrills...save yourself money in the long run.. they will set you straight, and ou will then be able to enjoy Jeepin

3 way cat will get ya thru.

Make sure ur truck is nice and warm... Dont do high revs with brand new cat run it around town or highway for a bit then go to airscare

Just dont let canadian tire do it they installed it backwards the first time i didnt even think it was possible my truck ran shitty and had worse than before results...

Made em give me a new one and told em to do it right

Oh that sucks momma, wish i could just put my otor in your jeep, hope you can figure it out, you can try taking it to a different aircare station, also iff you have your receipts and spent the ammount you can get a conditional, pass, gives you a year, hugs aircare go fuck yourself

it has a few more issues than that, the engine is making a popping sounds almost like it is misfiring, needs to have new tierods, too

Lean out the carb and stick a cap of methal hydrate in the tank, and yes agood 3 way cat helps tonnes!

Also do a tune up, dont use the diamond fire E3 plugs, just use regular bosch or egk plugs, thoes e3 plugs are designed for newer vehicles, also a oil change, fresh oil = runs smoother, could also try foaming the motor to clean all the carbon out

methal raises nox and running lean I believe does as well.
cheap or shot cat, timing being to far advanced or excessive carbon buildup

I love all the BS air care tricks from people that don't have a clue.

Send me your regi and I can take a look. If the timing is adjustable, and the other readings are GOOD. you could retard the timing.

Donna, you should come see Mike, Bob, or me. Those 4.2 engines have a few common problems that could cause this but without some diagnostic equipment you are really just shooting in the dark, quit wasting money and don't listen to the internet peanut gallery, take it to somebody that KNOWS what they're doing.
