In a bronco 2 I would go with radius arms... Very easy to do...

I did leafs on my 99 Explorer and it was alot of work but you have the spring buckets and steering box all in the right places already just get some radius arms off an early bronco and it will work... What Axle are you using??? I'll be doing a first gen Explorer this spring and just going with the D30 out of a Cherokee.... Nice fit...

dont waste your time puting a cherocar 30 in it you already have a 35 wiith locking hubs
if youre dead set on a 30 i know of one already set up to fit your truck
and im shure he will be willing to sell it when we put the 44 9inch combo under his
if you want a 44 under it dont put a 30 under it its alot cheeper to build it once right than it is to redoit

iv only got the 28, going too a 30 isnt much better but i only have the 2.9l so its not like i have any power haha
yeah trentons, im just waitin lol. can you switch the auto hubs to manual on that dif?

d30 is a waste of effort. Your b2 is a lot heavier than a Cherokee and will not last.

You think? Even with only having like half the power? I don't really wantt to go full width don't really want to deal with cops haha

the cherocar is full time no hubs and if you look at cody and trentons truck
they both have wide wheels
the right off set and a skinny tire tire a small flae would cover tire

flares??

A radius arm 44 is the easiest swap in my opinion, if you do a 30 you have to have arms made, brackets, cross member, etc, etc. My old b2 I used a full width 44 and 9 inch with stock length arms and brackets, I cut the shock side of the coil bucket off and used stock f250 shock towers. Made a simple track bar mount out of box steel, and used a stock front f150 drive shaft for the rear shaft.

Yeah good point bruce, they do got really wide wheels and tires. I'm only on 33 10.5 how much do 44 and a 9" go for? I was gettin a good deal on the 30 and 8.8. I currently have a 4 inch suspention lift and 3 inch body lift

should be able to find a d44 ready to go with steering,RA's and brakets for like 300. and another diff u could use is a 8.8 f/w. i ran one welded in my f150 with 38's for years, never broke once! 8.8 an 9's shouldnt cost u more then 150-200 tops.
Legend knows his stuff here take his advise. [cheers]
