ya know i love my lockers...they are the only thing i have done to my jeep that was right the 1st time [36] and never having to ask " come on arb guys u know the drill " ( is it working ) lol

But

why the hell does it always have to do that KABANG thing in the drive through when i pull away from the window or up to the window.

its uncanny actually Never seems to do it any other time and its such a pain in the ass cuz im always like " its supost to do that" and they are always like "ya sure buddy" lol

The real question is what do u care what some drive thru kid thinks?

I went thru a drivethru when my coolant pressure bottle broke, i had coolant spewing down the side of my truck audibly... I was just like ya thats normal... What do they know.

If they bang to often it is usualy cause the tires are not even, I use it as an indicator that one of my tires is low on air.

think about it what's the banging it's the locker engaging or releasing in a drive threw normally a tight turn it load's up and then you come to a stop and engage the clutch but the locker is still loaded then u go to pull away and it bangs kinda makes sense doesn't it ... id view it a piece of mind that it's still working [f] ...

x3 on the tire pressure, or if you finesse the clutch a little then hit the gas hard you get a nice violent crack!

I've had mine for 10 years and I'm still surprised to not see my axle walk out of the back end after some of the bangs I've heard.

I have had my detroit in the 82 for over 12 years.

Never had a problem. It runs open around town and through corners unless you tromp on it.

On gravel spin a tire and she locks up.

Come to a stop, unload the drivetrain and voila open again.

On a side note my ARB has only failed once. When I ripped the air line off.

Don't be in such a hurry to shove that Baconator in your mouth! My lockrite only did that when going in a straight line if I gave'r on the gas'r too much. In the corners was a different story, couldn't even think about touching the skinny pedal once I let off it until I was out of the corner.
