View Full Version : RC leafs into a w350 questions

are front and rear springs from a ramcharger interchangable with springs on a w350?
my w350 rides stiff and we do not carry heavy loads, looking to soften up the ride plus ad some flex for trails.

found front springs from a ramcharger, also looking into chevy rears.
yes ive searched, nothing conclusive for my application.

im a ford guy gone dodge so still learning all the dodge specs, any information would be appreciated on RC springs -> W350, and chevy springs -> W350.

Thanks

the ramcharger springs will probably fit but will probably lower the truck
typicaly 3/4 tons sit taller than 1/2 tons
woild be easier to just pull a leaf or two out of the packs you have

The front springs I currently have are completely flat, reason I'm asking is I found a set of ramcharger 4" lift springs for the front.

I'd remove springs but cause it's a w350 they are thicker (stiffer) and would have zero arch to them.

Thx for the response it's appreciyed

If your w350 has a cummins in it you won't want to use the RC frt springs the cummins engine is way to heavy.

360 gas no cummins here. Looking at rough idea of 4" RC lift leafs and 2-3" shackles up front and chevy leafs and shackle flip rear.

looks like going with 4" ramcharger leafs in the front and build my own shackle flip in the rear for chevy 63s, then move rear spring, front hangars forward a bit.

Got a pair of chevy 63" rear leaves off a 2000 chevy 1500.
Gonna add a leaf to get an inch or two back out of the half ton leaves, then use DIY4x.com's Dodge shackle flip.

currently painting the sonofabitch satin black, tunin'er up, then lift before summer :)

Excuse me? I'm building a non store bought lift to my needs.
Also doing very single turn of a wrench myself.
Iunno why you go around picking fights Williams lake must be pretty boring.

Ramcharger 4" lift with extended shackles, and diy4x shackle flip rear with chevy 63" leaves and extended shackles.

Bilsteins all around. That's half assing it? Okay man..
