Hey all. It has been a long while since I/we have been on the site and posted/participated in here. We have been pretty damn busy most of the summer(camped 16 days in Aug alone)Mostly boat camping as we put a 260HP Chev 350 in and HOLY FUCK she flies!
Another addition for us is a 1986 Corolla GTS Hatchback,Red and in near mint shape.
The 1990 4runner has had some major work done also.Detroit True Trac in front to supplement the Detroit full locker in rear. All new front axles, bearings etc. Snorkel added as well.
We recently came into a shitload of inheritance money and are having fun. GOD it feels good to be debt free:party0010:
The GTS will be getting 10-15 G in a full makeover making it a show/summer car. Now that is gonna be fun. Over 200HP on a 1700lb car. I plan on putting a 4AGZE in, bored, stroked and cammed[36]Lots of anodizing and chroming. I want to keep it all Toyota and as stock(ish) as possible. To find one of these cars unmolested is a great find.http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj13/DBRATS/PB100135.jpg

Oh I and turn 45 on Jan 1st[cheers]

A friend of mine had one of those back in the day.
It was actually pretty quick in stock form. I don't think that 1.6 had a redline ;).

A friendfriend of mine had onea with a full drift setup. Two way LSD slammed with roll centers. The works. The 20 valve is THE way to go. Hands down. Only prolem is they are easy to steal

So we are back from Red Deer/Rocky Mtn House. Our son moved there and had a 1986 Chevy Nova(aka Toyota Corolla ) that we needed to get back here, so our mission was to drive to Rocky Mtn House, pick up car, visit with son and get car back.Just a couple pics of the 4runner in Alberta and Golden

With the ported engine and Weasy2 cams, this thing was flawless cruising up and through the Rockiesoh yeah.I was in ECT,OD off and doing mostly 110 at 4000rpm.Yes it is an Auto.Original transmission with 420,000km.:party0010:Now I have 2 1986 Toyota corollas with 4A engines food

Thought of the 20v, but wanted to keep it as close to original as poss.It will look stock with all the goodies.
Yes it is easy to steal, but there are other cars theives are more interested in than 25 yr old cars that are just as easy to steal.
