Last time I was at Lordco they were in the fall trade show book for a pretty good price, or if you know anyone at Lordco they seem to have the best price around

I got mine at Edmonds battery in burnippy.

Dunno why u want 2 reds ... Optimas website actually says "there is absolutely no reason you would ever need to run two red tops"

Check this out its a neat read might help u pick ur battery... From the SEMA Show...

Then you get a great deal if that is taxes in. Otherwise they sell shit and rape you for pricing.

the reason i need 2 is its a diesel
theres alot of hi amp load on it to start with glow plugs etc
on for several minuits before cranking
does it make a differance having 2 yes it does
my chevelle has a hard time cranking with one
kicks back and breaks the nose off the starter
with 2 it fires right up
high compresion big block with a gear reduction starter
it also has a start timing retard takes timing out to make it easier to start

i used to have a guy that would sell them for $100 a piece but they put computers in his truck an started counting batteries so that went out the window

last battery i got off of him was a yellow top (starting) for $40

im sure having 2 redtops would make a difference all im saying is from optimas point of view 2 yellowtops makes more sence... yellow is CCA and deep cycle whereas red is just CCA...

So with yellows u get the CCA u need and deep cycle as a bonus... dont know about the price differance though but id personally get a yellow...

optima does say that if u have a red alrdy u shouldnt put a yellow with it

anyway just what i know take what u will from it
[cheers]

Look Up. Nice tits!!!!! Err... what he said!
My cost for the last 2 was 230 each tax in. I'm just on the otherside of the golden ears bridge. If you want I can get them for that price. That's my dealer pricing. LMK

the one in my 4 runner lasted 3 years with a hole in it
includeing driveing it several times with a non working altenator
once to and from work for a week
i usualy am lucky to get a year out of a maintenance free battery
