I was up last night searching the web for information on lifting a Subaru Loyale I recently picked up for $400. I found this group and also by chance the newbie run was today! So my buddy and I were planning on going to the rifle range so I said we should go up to Stave and checkout the group. We had a good time shooting way up the mountain, and good cheese burgers down by the fire.
I've been going up to stave and Davis lake for years, but usually during the weekdays because I used to work weekends.
It's good to discover this group and I hope to meet up again soon.
First time I took the Loyale out in the snow, yeah I know it's a goofy station wagon but it's cheap and fun.

My wheeler is a red 92 Subaru Loyale, I have a dual range transmission and rear diff to install, and some 16" rims and 29" tires to upgrade. First I have to drill and convert my hubs from 4 to 6 bolt and do some fender trimming and maybe a lift.
There are alot of these old subarus south of the border in bellingham, but not many around here, aircare I suppose? That's how I go mine so cheap, wouldn't pass air care. But with some creative part sourcing online and a bit of work it got a quick pass!
I've been around stave and Davis lakes for years, most of my camping crew has gotten soft, and don't go out as much anymore, it's good to discover this crew.
