Couldn't believe it the sheep in the middle of the road the semi had to drive around him
Alot of the mountains looked like this but i couldn't get very many good pics - very cool looking mountains
I would highly recommend a trip to northern BC - just one thing if you like to drink stock up in Fort Nelson - it is dry all the way to Watson Lake (yukon)

Very nice pic's, one of my favourite parts of the Province. :)

Those hotsprings are on my bucket list long as way from Van though.
11-10-2011, 11:38 AM
looks great its been a long time since iv been in that area :)
oh...and watch out for bears in those springs. seriously.
11-11-2011, 04:42 AM
Luckily i only saw a moose out there but believe me it was a little nerve-racking walking out in the dark alone

When the wac bennet dam was made it flooded all the way back to mackenzie forming williston lake. ive seen some before pics but none with todays quality imagery. ive been fishing on williston - unbelievable fishin. Site C is definitely going to be a nightmare as it is in somebodys backyard . Makes me wanna go sit on the rocks and fish at Hudson Hope. Grrrt PICS
11-12-2011, 04:11 PM
ya site C is gonna flood out alot of peoples properties, the highway will have to be rerouted in several areas. It is kind of a shame.
If site C does go though I wanna get on that project - i think it would be very cool - not sure where they would put all the workers tho - this area is tight of accommodations
a video showing what would be flooded by the dam
11-12-2011, 05:28 PM
that looks like a awsome trip to do and sweet pics
11-12-2011, 07:19 PM
good video on the dam . canada sells the states 3.8 billion worth of electricity then we buy it back during our peak times. go figure. the north is great and no matter what corner of the province you will find someone to drink beer n wheel trucks
