30psi? Or lower? The non H.O motors (pre 91) were only 30 psi pumps

BTW,I have a 2.5l fuel pump in my rig right now that I'm just using as a pick up,so if you need a pump , I'll trade you .The pump worked last time I used it , and I've just been sucking fuel through it with a mechanical fuel pump since. As long as the sending unit works I'm happy.[cheers]

Is there not a FPR on the fuel rail? If so thats irrelevant in your situation

epic is trying to explain that pumps do not determine the pressure, that is the regulators job.
pump is prolley the same
for 1992 rock auto catalogue shows same numbers for both engines

If the pump physicaly fits it will work. I have a HP TPI pump for my low preasure tbi engine. The worst thing that can happen is the regulator may be a bit louder,,,but i doubt it.You can get away with too much pump, but you can't get away with not enough.

I just put a 340lph pump in my daily driver that makes 250hp on its best dayand this relates how??
litres per hr have no relevence to presure
what i was refering to was a 4litre jeep motor that is multiport injected
to a 2.5 litre jeep motor that is throtle body and lucky to make 60 horsepowwer
one is high press one is low
