Hey guys, I have found a lot of good info on this and other forums. Looking into having fun modding my newly bought 97 limited runner. I spend most of my time working and surfing but wheeling is getting addicting. Any friends of bill in here? I live in Van now and have been to hale creek and some fsr on the island. Looking forward to meeting some of you guys!

LOL, Im happy with my yota. Messed around at triangle beach today and thinking of heading to Jones Lake with the wife and dog tomorrow. Has anyone been there recently, is there some decent obstacles or just pot holes?
Thanks guys

I went to Jones Lake this past August. Mostly rough with pot holes. I took my 12 foot aluminum boat on a trailer. I won't do that again as the road was so rough I worried that the trailer axles would break and the boat bounced all over the place. Then when I got to the lake the water had been drained again and the mud flats went out a long way. On a sunny day you can see the glint from so many lost fishing lures on the surface of the mud. I won't go up there again with the boat, maybe a day trip to the far end for a campfire and cast off from shore, thats' it. The mountain scenery is drop dead gorgeous!

Ya the lake was high yesterday, beautiful views, Found some fun little trails for my stocker. Lots to explore. Some guys were fishing and doing pretty well.
