I just hope some drunk assholes don't decide to burn that structure down? That would be my worry. Any of you people ever had the opportunity to shoot rifles at Hale Creek? I have to ask because I don't shoot guns in restricted areas and I always have the utmost regard for safety at all times. Responsible firearm ownership to me is paramount. I like my hunters' license and PAL in my wallet, where it belongs!

Looks like a good trip. That area is starting to get washed out now, you actually have to pick a line in a stock truck.

Fuk the guns at Hale. Go somewhere else to do that ... Just sayin.. There are a ton of other spots to make you feel manly

Got to see that structure couple weeks back. Sure is BIG in person great job they did!

Solo groove those TSL's and you will really love em. I grooved mine and it was like night and day

I don't shoot to feel manly! I am manly enough already, and then some. I guess I asked the wrong question, that won't happen again. Sylvester road or a.k.a. little Iraq has been shut down from what I was told. I belong to the Mission Rod and Gun Club and practice a lot at that range, I just wanted to know if people are allowed to use firearms at Hale Creek but from the responses I just got I take it it is frowned upon by people like you. I will leave the guns at home when I do go to Hale Creek but there are much nicer places to go in the Harrison Lake area than that, you just need a boat to find out. How about Eagle Falls? Any of you ever been there?

Yep been to all the falls. Eagle falls into the lake and nice beach area there. Hale is one of my favorites since I was a kid. Will always love that place

its good too bring a gun or two too hale or anywhere far in the bush for protection, cant trust anybody these days, if your by your self at hale shoot a rifle or two, who the fuck cares, no way would I do it if a family or a group of ppl are there, and ppl dont shoot off guns too make them feel, 'manly' what a retarted thing too say, ppl do it as a hobby, like 4 wheeling and fishing and boating etc, JUST SAYIN......

Don't get ur panties in a tangle ... You should know jokes float around bud. Just saying there are ALOT of other places to blast ur guns!!!!
Like way further in the bush. Don't think u need a gun for protection at Hale :dontknow:

Until a black bear comes into your camp in the middle of the night sniffing around for food. nice to have a gun when that happens, you might actually get out alive the next day instead of being taken out in a body bag.

Almost every time on Silver crk there is a bear or two thy comes around. Especially at night. Don't bother me or my buddies camping. Grab a blow horn if u feel threatened.

To each their own I guess

Thats' right TJ, to each his own. I had a cousin badly mauled by a black bear back in the early 1970's. He was camping at Golden Ears park with a few friends and the bear got all excited and angry and attacked him and ripped him up really badly. He lived but is badly scarred. Needless to say I am very wary of bears, therefore the firearms. Perhaps this thread belongs in the hunting section? Thats' enough of this topic for me.
