Reminds me of a few years ago when I did this to my old jeep
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad21/nicksxj/phase%204/snipsnip.jpg
And Darren (D-ass) and I spend 100's of hours welding, grinding, wiring, working on it through holidays, to have it finished and ready for the toy run,

Just that satisfaction of seeing it finally done is so great! Can't wait to see it finished mang, it will be well worth the time and money put into it,

its the cheap notcher that kms tools sells
works good but doesnt hold up to lots of use
ive done 10 cages and lots of other notching with mine
its just geting a litle sloppy and doesnt make as nice a cope

Found the website for this kms shop, Looks pretty rad.Too bad there is not one close to me,Here I thought princess auto was the bomb. I need to get inside one of these shops.....Neil.

youngun
10-22-2011, 12:03 PM
I find the cheap ones get sloppy cause most of them have a nylon or some kinda plastic bushing inside. Where as the jd2 notch master has sealed ball bearings so it doesn't wear out

procircuit
10-24-2011, 08:28 AM
ya its definetly not the best.. the one i grabbed has a brass bushing thru the whole shank sleeve.. as long as you keep it lubed up good it seems to be allright.. definetly not a jd, but for the price of it on a budget build it definetly did the trick... if i get into making more cage shit im buying a tubeshark bender notcher combo.. GET SOME!
