View Full Version : Soft top Zipper repair ??

my soft top has only been on my jeep for about 1 year and my rear passenger window zipper has broke leaving my unable to put that window in


the zipper and teeth are fine its the box you slide the one end into to start the zip


anyone know if or were i can get this repaired :dontknow:



stupid best top only sells window pkgs and i dont need all 3 at 189 bucks[16]

Or you can try Haymac Glass in Langley they do all kinds of custom work on soft tops

Get an upholstery guy to fix it they totally could fix a zipper thingy

I was waiting for someone to say something like this.

I used a whole bunch of zip ties and "sewed" my zipper closed on my Zuk

If its just moving and not broken sometimes you can pinch the box slider on the sides with pliers and see if it engages the teeth better.

I fixed the zipper on my cooler yesterday with this method.

A good upholstery guy will have no problems either.
theres a place in poco called "I know a guy" he covered some arm rests
for our 1960 t-bird for cheap. $15.
