okay i blew a strutt when i was in the kootneys elk hunting, and replaced it today, job went pretty easy but when i finished i noticed this

not sure if i will have to pull everything off to slide it back in of what i can do, compress suspension and push back on

Hopefully you can just pop it back in, its just a snap ring that retains it, I have seen this happen before and it can damage the splines or carrier if you dont catch it soon enough

As long as there is no damage to the splines you will be able to just slide it back in.

On a side note do you need a 2" lift for that thing?

what 2 inch lift thing are you talking about, what do i do about the snap right, does it go on the inside of the diff, or do i just leave it out and drive it the way it is

The snap ring is on the end of the axle shaft and unless it actually broke it will still be on there.

I have 2" suspension lifts and 2" body lifts kits for sidekicks/trackers

front cv shaft poped out. chances are you dont have much for damage and probably can get away with just slamming it back in.
