Well I can say from experience, twice since I installed it, your gonna break axles. Get some spares, depending on what year of xj and with or without anti-lock you may want to upgrade to grand axles.

its got the larger 760x u joints so it shouldn't be to much of a problem i'm not much of a skinny pedal guy so we'll see.

Skinnypedal isn't the issue, to much steering is the issue. Just saying

This is a good point I'll have to keep an eye on the ujoints to see if I start to oval the ears. I've seen guys tack the caps but I'm not sure about that. B can you machine stock shafts for a full clip?

I plan on it this weekend hopefully :D going to throw it on once I've done about 500km on the locker. Right now I need to get me some 31s I think cause I cut down one of my big Os and bombing around on the spare:o

Yeah that brings out a good point. "Learn" your manual Before Use. It's only a 6000 lb winch at 3 wraps of cable out.

Back from the bloody dead.

so bad news first XJ is dead rust ate the rear and had to put it down.

Good news got good solid job running a crane full time so I can afford gas and parts again and a clean TJ to start all over again with! And its first real wheeling trip was whipsaw!

https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xft1/v/t1.0-9/11041138_10153613799685832_1882425556159880705_n.j pg?oh=289ddd7d1d76a92d580edc95500706f8&oe=56EA7345

So far in the process over swapping over all the parts I can reuse like the winch, BB lift and shocks, armor than start looking at flat fenders and maybe a 1 inch body lift should be good for lower lift and 33s or 35s.

Had a aussie locker in the dana30 and it worked all right under the light XJ but after a few years the stub shafts had there fill of that :D So I'm going to be learning all I can about full width axles.

Fuck me I missed camp fires and star filled nights.
