so me and the girlfriend and some friends where up at davis 2 weekends ago , i had my ranger up there was having a good time wheelin down by the lake nd east stave , then we decided we'd go up to salsberry mabe go for a swim , well we never made er , some of you may know the wasout on the road up to salsberry well i knew about it too and it has been marked everytime ive been up there , well some dumb fuck decided to throw that maker in the ditch go fuck yourself and well thats what ruined my day hit that wasout doin about 30 truck bounces down ,truck bounces up and down again , compleatley destroyed my front end bent both coil buckets , both shock towers , bottomed out the shocks , bent the steering , tore the radius arm mount off the frame , now walking away from this id just like to ask why the fuck would anyone move that marker we as wheelers look out for one another well so i though the 1st guy to pull up asked if i could move my truck i looked at him and say ahhhhhh NO , my gf standing beside me crying and bleeding like wtf has this world come toogo fuck yourself

anyway heres some pix

that is one hell of a poopy bum

09-01-2011, 08:59 PM
Damn, that sucks dude.

I wouldn't be relying solely on a marker when I know there is a hazard up ahead, but I guess you won't in the future either. Hope the repair isn't too bad.

Not kewl really:dontknow: some people are retarded. Hope its back on the road sooner then later

09-01-2011, 09:34 PM

Harsh dude, better the truck get hurt than you though i suppose

09-01-2011, 10:11 PM
yea it wasnt a good time at all , and ya i know what you mean be saying not trusting just a marker , just reatarded someone can be stu[id enough to remove it when its clearley marking a danger , thats like someone taking all the stop signs out of a 4 way stop just to see what happens well probabley an accident lol

yea working on gettin er fixed right now or mabe just get rid of it who knows

09-05-2011, 11:40 PM
Fuck that getting rid of it man, took u almost 3 years to build that rig and your gonna get rid of it? Nope! Let's fix it!

Ypes !!!

Is it fixed yet ?? :D

09-06-2011, 10:40 AM
umm why would you be relying on a marker that some random guy put in the first place?

Shitty that it happened but in reality it is simply one of those things. Ive done exactly the same thing (truck and camper airborn) and i simply said SHIIIIIIIT!!!!! .. completly my fault driveing to fast for conditions.

seatbelts ????

I had some pretty good carnage while i was at davis lake on the weekend, I got high centered on a tree stump going down the main trail its pretty bad I feel like an idiot cause it was totally avoidable, anyway I dont have any pics, but I crushed the Y exhaust pipe that comes from the exhaust manifold, I broke off the oil pan skid plate, damage the oil pan a little bit, damaged the slip yolk, and too top it all off, my winch wasnt working when I needed it the most! so i used my farmer jack lifted up the front end and drove foward off the stump, it sucks being stock!

09-18-2011, 07:49 AM
i want to see pics of the wash out! thats definitely shitty no one likes banging up there woman ...

09-19-2011, 05:25 PM
well I got fuckin screwed, the new Y pipe hangs lower too the ground than the stock one did, so when I bottom out thats the first thing too take the hit, its lower than the frame! fuck I need a lift

it was 180 bux for a Y pipe and 223 bux for labor, thats the part that hurt the most, and what you talking about a ranger fixed yet

09-20-2011, 05:36 PM
Why the fuck u pay to get a y pipe put on?

09-20-2011, 06:09 PM

Pretty sure this topic u started talking about ur ypipe in was actually about a ranger.

Pretty sure this topic u started talking about ur ypipe in was actually about a ranger.

because I dont have the tools or knowlodge of doing it my self, at first I thought it was simple as taking off old pipe and putting on new one with new gaskets, but according too my mechanic, the catcon was in the way of taking off the y pipe, so he hard to fart around with that in order too get on the new one, also the pipe is a double wall pipe, and there was a product inside the pipe that he had too take out and put in the new one, but basically i just dont have the tools too do it my self other wise I would have [cheers]

quoted the wrong guy and I dont really know any back yard mechanics either, and thats right this topic did start with buddy in his ranger
