Heat and a big hammer are your friends. Did my buddys on the side of the road on his 3/4 diesel. Used a torch and a 5 lb sledge, they popped right out.

i would launch it all and switch to fj80 ends, way more beefy. Then just build a new tie rod and drag link

is the tie rod below the leaf springs or on top of the leaf springs?

spencer_316_316

its below bit i want it above bacause it sits just above the bottom of my axle and i am worried about snagging it on decomision ruts and rucks and trees and anything else i can run over

just get a highsteer kit then, will move it above the springs and it will come with all new tie rod ends as a package

If you get the Hy steer, I would opt for the Chev ends like I did.

They are cheaper than FJ ends and are availaible EVERYWHERE !!
