View Full Version : Got an itchy shifter hand this weekend...

Name is Steve and I'm located in Abby. Been out of the wheeling game for at least 6 years now. Been wrenching on my rig for the last 4.5 years. Went up to Tulameen with my wife and 2 kids this past weekend and while looking for a swimming hole stumbled up the forestry road from coalmont in search for Lodestone lake. Headed up, made it past the mine and then some before the road turned out to rough for my extra cab long box 2wd ford. But the wife and I had fun, we hadn't been off road in years and it was the kids first taste. Stopped at a bunch of cabins and such. Anyways now that my truck is done I'd like to get out for some excursions with some other folks who are more experienced as i don't really know anyone in the game anymore. Always wanted to do the whipsaw. I then remembered this site from being on bc4x4 and thought it would be a good place to start. My goal is more geared to exploring and good camping trips/good times more so than super challenging trails and beating the shit out of my truck. Anyways hope to get out there!

Based on Honky's Trail rating thread I'm into 4 and unders.

As for my rig; '69 bronco, 5.0L efi/zf/np205, 5.5 SL/2 BL, D44/9" on 37's. Sorry for the poser pics, its all i got:(
