i cant tell if it is off a tooth, still have to count between cams.\
Also note the sick amount of coolant all over.... terrible for TB's

if only it had power, its the slowest truck Ive owned. even my Ramcharger had more balls and it weighed twice as much. That, so far, is my only complaint.

It does 130 for me up that huge hill from Hope into Sunshine Valley, which for me is quite fast enough. I'd have bought a different truck if I wanted to speed, Pathfinder gives you huge reliability that's hard to match, imo.

I like acceleration and power, not speed. My rpm is at 3000 at 110km, no point in going any faster than that. I can only imagine when i get 33's that i wont even be able to merge on the highway without givener.

Yeah lol

It doesn't get to speed in any great hurry that's for sure, but once I'm at 115kmh, on flat, I just set my cruise control and it does that at about 2500 RPM

We just bought an 08 Pathfinder full load, with the V8 and let me tell you that thing pulls hard when you get on the gas. Best vehicle purchase ever so far for us. It only had 39,000km on it too.

Ya those are good family-looking trucks. Pathfinders got mini-van-ized in 2000's, and the Xterra replaced the old Pathfinder body style. I'd imagine it could probably tow a hefty trailer too.

seemed real easy, belt went on, lined up perfect, but when i put it back together i had this peice-->?
http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i86/DoctorBill_SCC/Pathfinder%20TB%20Change/THETimingBelt-1.jpg
not there, i put on outside of cover...
severely fked everything. so i put it all back on, get crank pulleys on, and it seized, took it off, that round washer looking thing was now concave.
I realized it should be behind the cover, so another hour later i im back where i was, and its cranking fine. another hour and half-two hours later i have all pulleys, belts, rad, hoses on, and filled with coolant.turn on and runs amazing, starts smoking and shut off.
The cover plate also got bent! and when torqued on, it bent the washer thing around the crank gear for timing chain, and rubs the shit out of the timing belt
now i need a new washer thing, belt , and cover plate

i have to hit pickapart on Saturday to get the shit, no one seems to have it.... so there is a 40% chance of it being fixed this weekend, and id say 90% by Monday night

come down to tacoma, i have the parts you need.

I know that washer, and its important. keeps the timing belt from walking off the pully's

I know this. We looked hard for a week and this one was sitting at Coquitlam Chrysler just waiting for us. Price was 33,000 we took it home taxes in for 31,000. They drive nice. When we found the V8 LE with all the options we jumped on it. It was difficult to find. Most out there are V6 SE models.

The whole process at the dealer took 1 hr. We were in a rush to get down to Seattle that evening.
