Thinking of putting some headers on my luxo.

The manifolds are leaking, anyone done this ? :dontknow:

From what I have read theer is a possible 10 hp and 10 fl/lbs torque gain with a good set.

I already have a cold air intake, hi flo cat and series a 40.

Whats wrong with your manifold? Headers are loud and put allot more heat under the hood.
I would fix the manifold if its cracked weld it with pure Ni and peen the weld after.

If its just a gasket leak then replace the gasket. headers are louder, more heat, wearout etc. On that engine adding a header would be about as usefull as adding soup can exhaust on a ricer car.
All the massive HP gains are imaginary

How do you figue that dyno results are false ?

+7 to 10 Hp and same in torque is almost %10 gain.

Maybe for thoes who already have 250+ hp wouldn't care but when you got angry squrels the more the better.

Red, I would like to see your set up.

So you want to spend bux on headers when you cheap out on stock 27 spline birfs for your "wheeler"?

The hi flow cat and series 40 flowmaster made a big difference.

The cold air intake helped also.

Driving a stock 3.4 to a intake/header/exhaust 3.4 is pretty big difference. I remember on the 3.0 it made a 4-5 second 0-60 difference. On the 3.4 it was around the same
