Anyone know if any land crusiers with a 9.5" ring gear came with 4.56 gears?

Or is it only aftermarket gears for them?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure no toy's came stock with 4.56, besides the RV edition toy pickups.

I don't know what an RV edition pick up is, but my sr5 came with factory 31's and 4.56 gears. :dontknow:

I was told by a guy at the dealership that only those 2wd motorhome looking Toyota pickups came stock with 4.56 gears. And i asked about the sr5 pacvkage aswell and he said they came with 4.10 the biggest. Chances are i'm wrong, but that's what i was told.

I know that 4.56 gears came stock in some of the pickups/4runners with the 8" ring gear.

What im wondering is if the fj40 landcruiser with the 9.5" ring gear ever came stock with 4.56 gears

No BJ70 series ever came into Canada with 4:56 gearing from the factory. Some very late model 7* series (LJ78 KZJ71 KZJ78 Prado) are listed as coming with 4.875 and 4:30 respectively but that is moot, because they never were brought into Canada (edit...for general consumer use). Canadian BJ70's all came with 3:70.

If aftermarket gearing options are the questions, then you need pull the diff and check.

Something is reminding me that the FJ62/auto came with the 4:11's too.

Actually, Mike's truck came with 4:11's, and he swapped in some 4:56's that he came across in his dealings.

According to Mike, the 4:56's came in the PZ's for three years, but of course those are mine trucks and not for the general consumer.
