i am wondering is anyone knows if a drop pitman arm on a 95 f150 for the TTB will work with 78-79 solid axel steering linkage. is the hole reamed out the same to accept the draglink end?

both of the sas ive done on the fords
ranger and explorer had drop pitmans
changed them to stock 2wdr ones to get track bar and drag link
to run parellel
yours would probably work out the same

its more trying to match angles of track bar and tie rod
if they arnt parellel it will bump steer bad
your truck dosnt have a track bar now
but the sas you will need to fab one up
the tie rod end isnt a big deal
the explorer has 78 steering with a tre with the right taper for explorer arm
and thread for f150 drag link

i know about the track bar and drag link angles having to match. this is not for my truck yet. but a firend that is buying a 95 that has a solid axel. the guy he is buying it from has not done the steering yet and hooked the ttb linkage back up just to move it around the shop. it has a drop pitman arm from the TTB lift that it had before the conversion.
but belive me the more and more i work on that front end of my truck the more and more i want to take a tortch to it
