Grandpa and I went out last weekend, May 1 to look at the fishing lakes. We always look around each spring. Wanted to look at the ice cover. Ice was still on a lot of lakes. Just starting to melt. Tried a few back roads. Found snow everywhere when we tried to get high up. Next week we will take out the ATVs and look around again. We want to go fishing soon at the higher lakes with the camper and Zodiac. Really lake spring.

No too much snow at Mucullough so Brown Lake would be full of snow. We almost got stuck at McCullough campground with the Toyota.

Went for a 3 dayer at Lundbom over on Merritt side last weekend. Fishing wash alright. Lots of fish but nothing over 3 lbs.
Anyone thinking of going to Buck just a heads up about 1 km off the conector Douglas lake has put up signs saying you need writen permission to travel the road which is apperently on there land, so you have to come in from hwy 5A side.
