I'm wondering if one of you guys could tell me what the measurement is from the firewall to the rad support on a Tracker

That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks alot for your help! I'm thinking of pulling the axles and running gear out of my toyota and sas'ing a 4 door tracker. My 7mge might be a little long though. I just measured my motor and from the firewall to the crank pulley is 27". I would have to cut the firewall to fit the motor in, which I don't mind doing. The other issue that might come up would be where my shifter would end up

go for it I wish mine was a 4d my wb at 90" sucks balls, there is quite a few people who have 22re/w56 plus dual cases in trackers/sidekicks. Hell there are 1 or 2 locally who have 4.3 vortecs

I've got 1.6 to tracker 5speed to kicker2 modified sidekick box to toyota t case and have plenty of room to retain my stock e brake handle position.

also a lot of other local trackers are running 2.5/2.7 v6s out of grand vitaras to keep our crawl boxes and stock transmissions or running a tracker automatic

there are about 4-6 tracker build ups on crawlinbc if you are not already signed up go a head and check em out.

from the number for 27" if you run a electric fan should probably wont need to hack the firewall and should give you enough room to your your belt and pulley systems

I see. Yea, if I decide to do this it will be a 4 door so I can fit a few more oeople in for wheelin and hunting trips. I love my toyota xtra cab but there's just not enough room. I might have to shift the motor back and inch or two and/or move the rad forward a bit to make it all fit. What tire size are you running? I've got built toyota axles and 35x12.5 km2's. I'll probably have to do some trimming to make em fit!

i run 36 iroks

if you are putting toyota drive train in it and want to use leaf springs use toyota rears all around make custom packs for front and rear or YJ springs

or run tj coils all around and create a link system for them, there is a build thread of a 2 door tracker on tj coils it's a nice setup on crawlinbc

That's a nice rig. I'm having a look at the rigs on crawlinbc right now. What axles and gears are you running?

toyota front and rear 4cyl thirds 5.29 gears spool front and rear

the front has all the typical toyota goodies, 30 spline longs, long hub gears, highsteer from ott with ARP knuckle studs, etc etc... if you sas it do yourself a favor and put on a toyota ifs steering box.

my kick box with hydro assist leaves much to be desired in comparison

Cool, thanks for the info. My girlfriends landlord has a built white 2 door kick on 39" iroks, 3 link up front, 4 link rear with airbags and a full exo. It's nuts. I'm gonna keep my eyes open fr a cheap 4 door kick and start this thing. I just bought a house in poco and move in July 1st. Now I'll have MY OWN SPACE!!! Is yours leafs front and rear? (I'm on my iPhone)

is this your land lords tracker? if it is thats how I want mine to look after I get my house and can finally move all my welder, plasma, benders and etc into my own shop.

Need something that I can fit a few more people into. Im still thinking of trying to find a 4runner body but there aren't too many that aren't over priced or rusted out
