School me in sealers/coatings

Years of topless dirty fun have left me with a few soon to be trouble spots on the interior of my YJ

and since im about to go back to the half tops again i want to do a little preventive maint.

going to be spending a little time with the wire wheel and flap disks to remove the excess rust and then im gonna need a stop rust or rust inhibbiter that i can just spay down and help delay the cancer

future plans are to build a roll cage and properly address the problem spots and then rino line but until then i don't want it getting any worse

I would brush some nice sticky gear oil in that and let it do its magic till you get her fixed properly...

Body mount is getting rusty for sure. I hate seeing that when I pull the carpet up

hey tuna when did you get a toyota
por 15 you can get it through most restoration hot rod supliers
its a rust conversion coating
buddy used it on his 32 frame about 5 years ago
and it sat outside leaning against his shop for two years
only where it was chipped or scratched did it rust

Looks like your body lift is pushing thru the floor. X2 on the por15 you can get it from lordco but i think your going to need more than that for your problem. :D

Por 15 is good but Ardrox 3962 is really good for getting inside panels and in your doors it has a really low contact angle so it wets out and get everywere. Its the only thing I seen that protects bare steel in salt water environments

Ardrox 1218 will eat the rust and go down to shiny metal.

Looks like you got a fair amount of cutting and welding there.
