Had some free time last weekend before wheeling, so we installed a winch and fabbed a bumper up for my buddies runner. and started to make a roll cage/stinger for another buddies old 78 cj5

moved the rad back about 1 5/8'' using some spacers, so we could get his winch tucked in as much as possible..... it worked pretty good:D

then we pulled this gem out, 78 cj5 304 amc 3 speed. sitting at the side of his grampas barn since 86, he decided to pull her out and fix it up and wheel it

Man those tires are old school. That's what my Dad use to wheel with.

oh man, that we almost did, literally, snapped the rear passenger inner, tire came off truck went down, if it would have been the drivers side would have gone over the edge forsure!

Why didn't you cut out that cross-member with the holes in it. I does virtually nothing and would have given your rad more air.
