Well if I dont solve this squeaky clutch pedal issue , I think I will just replace clutch as it is shit anyways. http://www.bcjeepclub.ca/Smileys/default/laughing001.gif

So can anyone on here CONFIDENTLY do this OR know of a shop with a good rate to do this?

Just spent a butt load on my swap , so hoping to get a sweet deal .

OR

if anyone with a 97 TJ has had a squeaky Clutch pedal and remedied it. When i press the clutch pedal down , it has a squeaky/rubbing sound by the bell housing , as I cant hear in the Jeep . I can also feel it when it makes the sound:rules have no ideas

Sounds like the release bearing. I replaced lots of them when I worked at a Jeep dealer, for the noise you are describing. Mostly on Jeeps that went off roading but also some that didn't. Not a terrible job to do. But it is best to have a hoist.
