gonna be in the market for a set of tires for my 4 runner in a month or so ( tax return)

not 100% sure what i want.

i've had krawlers, love them, but new they are $$$$ and cant find any used right now.

a little about the 4 runner. 85, dual t case, locked f/r hy steer.
90% trail 10% on the road.

what do you all recommend in the 35-36in size??
prefer 13.5 or narrower

Not as bad as people think. National 4wheel drive has them. When i was pricing tires they were the same or cheaper than TSLs

$406 for the 37 bias and $378 for the 35 bias according to their webstore

i liked the krawlers cause they worked good for me and lasted really well. they were the only real off road tire i have used.

being that the 4 runner is more trail then my last truck. i am open to trying boggers, swampers or irocks.

i think 35 10.5 15 boggers will be to narrow and 14.5 wide might be to wide.

Boggers don't last......and yet i bought a set again [16] But i got a steal of a deal so i can't complain. Everything i have read on the Rocker says they are as good as anything out there...krawlers included. And from talking to guys running them they tend to be a little shorter than claimed. 39s are 38s kinda thing. Can't go wrong with the old TSLs though

Rockers are a good move.

Or maybe some LTB's they are nice and narrow. What rim size you running?

pitbull rockers is what I'd try next time for me , I like my 36 iroks though

iroks bring the suck in the mud though

I'd say Tsl's, rockers seem to be way to pricey when i was pricing tires

They make the LTB in a 35 for most rim sizes.

ah, they must have added the 35 recently.
I wish they made like a 37" ltb.. that would be perfect for me.

yes they do but they grip nice. my truck hasn't been on the road for awhile so my wear is good.
