i know you can easily make a 14BFF "narrow"

am i understanding correctly

get a DRW 14 Bolt
and use SRW outers.. such as spindles and shit?
and then use the DRW axles?

Just planning ahead.

thanks

You want a SRW housing and axle shafts, and DRW wheel bearing hubs, the spindles and bearings are the same, you will have to do a disc brake swap or deal with moving the drum brake backing plate. This will net you a 63.5 inch WMS to WMS dif

Dont forget to take into account the curvature of the earth divided by pii the sqared from the angle of the dangle. if you get confused try the catalogue of spacely sprockets, it might help you out.

To go really narrow, get a cab/chassis drw c14 housing.

I have the cab/chassis diff in my cj, and all the c/c dif is, is a SRW diff housing with the dually hubs and brakes installed. You don't usually want all the wieght of the dually brakes, so it's just as easy to build yourself a c/c diff out of parts and use the cheapo disc brake swap.

cool, thanks mikey.
I had it backwards.

planning ahead for my future build.

I'd like to run full width, but full with on a mini truck will be too much

Maybe even check the width of the van housing you might be able to make one a little narrower by doing the same thing with it
