Hard body ,Hustler whatever you want to call it. Belongs to a buddy of mine and he is having headlight issues. No daytime running lights sometimes , other times they come on. Turn on the lights and only one side goes on, switch to high beams and the other goes on and the other side goes off, hold the switch back to flash high beams and it acts like it has wig wags the whole time with no tail lights but stop lights work. On the passenger side fender near the front there is a box that all the lights go into that buzzes off and on but seems to be fully wired in. C'mon you Nissan guys can help a Jeep guy out can't ya?:D

common issue, get a new light switch for the column.

one for my pathfinder at the north shore nissan dealer was 75 bucks.

I had a similar issue on a BroncoII due to a corroded ground wire

DTRL module, behind battery, diagnose it like the pro's,spank with screwdiver handle and see if lighting changes. If so remove and replace.
part # 28575-23G1A

available at your local Nissan dealer.

It may be your headlight switch but try this first, those americans don't know about DTRL's.[15]

its the head light switch..

ALL nissans do this eventually.

dim, 1 head light goes on. Bright, that one goes off, and the other one comes on. Sometimes the running lights don't work.

you can try to disassemble it and clean the contacts. it works, SOMETIMES.

i could be wrong, but i doubt it.

this issue has nothing to do with DTRL's.

My pathfinde was originally sold in CANADA

Like I said,it could be your h/l sw,
I sell 10 dtrl modules for every 1 h/l sw, it's just a more common problem thats all. What year is your p/finder? dtrl's were 1990 and newer[cheers]

mines an 87, and does not have them, however, i've seen the exact same problem as this one.

anyway..... it could be the dtrl module.. but the one off 1 on, and switches from left to right on high and low.. is a symtom of the actual light switch.
